Bloomscroll Phone beta · October 19, 2026

What we store

Your notes, saved links, reflections, reading queue, and practice dates are stored on your device. The web app uses browser storage. The native iOS app uses its own application storage. There is no Bloomscroll account or automatic cross-device sync.

What leaves your device

This beta has no analytics, advertising SDKs, or application servers receiving your library. The website host receives ordinary web requests, including IP address and browser information, when serving the app. Opening an original link sends a request to that website under its own privacy policy. Exporting or sharing a backup sends your data only to the destination you choose. Device backups may include the native app’s data according to your Apple settings.

Your controls

You can export a JSON backup, import entries, delete individual entries, or erase your library in Settings. Browser data can be cleared or evicted by the operating system; keep backups of material you value. Removing the native app removes its local library, subject to your device backup settings.

Beta support

Contact jacob@ideaflow.io with bugs, questions, or privacy requests. Avoid attaching your library unless you intend to share its contents.

Scope

This is a personal reading and reflection tool. It does not provide medical advice. Automatic X/Instagram connections, downloaded articles, cloud sync, and the existing private Bloomscroll server are not part of this beta.
